Houston Schools
Houston School District provides educational services for more than 1,100 students in preschool through 12 grade.
The Houston School District achieved A+ status in 1999. The A+ program focuses on academic and technical education for all students utilizing problems solving, laboratory assignments, investigative learning and career planning. Students who successfully complete the program will qualify for two years free tuition at any Missouri public community college, post secondary vocational school, technical school within four years of graduating from high school.
High School offers appoximately 142 classes by 33 instructors. A balanced program is offered along with opportunities to participate in 14 clubs and organizations, fine arts activities and nine sports programs.
We are extremely proud of our school system and applaud those who strive to provide a solid academic foundation for our students.
